Sadly, I am addicted to reading game forums. And like most addictions, it’s terribly unhealthy and rots my soul.
To reduce the damage on my faith in humanity, I wish there was a sub-forum here which is heavily moderated and deletes/bans all whines, “suggestions”, and most “opinions”.
I would like such a subforum to be a place where people can share information and calmly discuss strategy, builds, videos etc, without all of the horrible BS, QQ, and flames that plagues the rest of the internet. Where people (pretend to) accept the game as it is, and (pretend to) assume that they have no effect on future patches whatsoever.
(my experience on english fan forums for japanese console games is a bit like this – the people there know that the japanese developers have never heard of the place and don’t give a puppy anyways, so the amount of whining is drastically reduced.)
Alternatively, if someone can suggest a fansite that has such a forum for GW2, I would love to go there.
