I’m not sure if this is on purpose, but during the cinematic where the tower collapses I get no sound at all, the sound only returns after the cinematic’s over and I regain control of my character in Kessex Hills.
How about the Fractal cinematic, are you able to hear sound with that one?
It can be found by entering the Fractals of the Mists map from a portal Lion’s Arch, and it should play the video for you. If you’ve already seen it before, you can view it again from the hub just on the other side of the portal by speaking to one of the nearby NPCs.
So there you have it. Bad Creative software caused this issue. I thought I’d at least post it here in case anyone ever comes across the same issue.
