no longer able to buy crafting tools with karma?

it’s hard enough to try and level one crafting skill while using salvage kits on everything i can. there’s no way i could level two crafts and be making anything useful for myself since every craft uses much of the same components.

i stop at every tree/plant/mine i see and walk everywhere as opposed to teleport to get more mats.

just to level one craft i still have to buy mats from trade. now i have to use my money to buy the kits too. there’s just no way i can level even one crafting skill and have useful items from it because of no money.

why not let us use karma to buy gathering tools?

There are Heart vendors in every map that sell gathering tools for karma.

Yes, I am sure. I personally made the change that went into that patch and it was just for the Weaponsmith vendor who was mistakenly selling tools for karma. I was also personally in the rewards meetings for every map, in which we planned which Heart vendors would get which gathering tool. Granted, I wasn’t the one who hooked them all up, but I just did a quick check on the database and yes, they are still there.
