My real life friend’s account got hacked, the hacker have been leveling his character from 65-69 in the past hours. He had sent off a support ticket but still no reply.
His account name is Cyborgamer.4278, the hacker had switch server from Isle of Janthir to Gate of Madness and the hacker is current leveling at Cursed Shore, a level 80 zone. I hope you look into this asap, because if the hacker is leveling at a lvl 80 zone he is definitely not alone.
The hacker somehow managed to hack his email as well, that’s why the hacker was able to authorize log in attempt from another country and changed the GW2 account email address to something else.
Fortunately, my friend was able to get his email account back and he have information about the hacker i.p address and the hacker email account.
Is there anything else he should do except waiting? What will happen to his account if the hacker continue to level, will it be able to reset back to the state before?
