To whom it may concern

I write this letter regarding the issue that my friend cannot solve himself. We are the members of a guild in server Sea of Sorrows. A few days ago, my friend could not connect to the game and he received the notification of permanent ban from Guild Wars 2.

Based on the information that he has received. He was banned because of using illegal third party software while playing the game. He believed that he has never used any illegal software at all and there was something that might be a mistake or misunderstanding. He told me that while playing GW2, he often tabbed out to his facebook to check then go back. Other than that, there was no other applications that could affect the game.

He believed that his computer might be affected by virus or trojan or something like those that could make your system misunderstand. Then he took the next step by reinstalling his system windows and installed a Antivius program to check for virus or any trojan.

As close friends, i know him pretty well. He has been playing this game for very long time without hacking or cheating. He was so keen to play the game and loves to stay with it for a long time.

Therefore, i hope you would review this case one more time. Despite the issue of playing and using 3rd party software, the game log and behaviour of the real person that plays the game truthfully is totally different from the ones who want to hack or cheat. For us to own the game and play it is a pleasure and we have never thought of hacking it.

In case the issue is not solved at all. It would be my appreciation of having the “what you called third party programme or application”.

Below is the detail of my friend:

.Current world: Sea of Sorrow

.Display name: Paragon.1653

.Main Character Name – Race – Profession: Lucjfer – Norn – Ranger ( he got ban while playing this character )

.Guild name: Vietnamese Vodka

.Ticket number: 130724-001757

Please help him with this problem.
Have a good day,

I am not able to assist with this matter. There is a question about who actually owns the account, and it was used for illicit activities, as well.
