Link gw1 and gw2 accounts

I dont have all achievements in gw1 to fill up my hall of fame. And my question is if I link it now can I unlock all of them or do I need to wait with linking account after I get all needed achievements in gw1.

Link any time, and as you reach achievements, they’ll appear on your GW2 account.

In fact, many people play GW2 first and then add GW later and they play GW to acquire those GW2 bonuses. We try to be generous in how all that is handled.
