Just curious about the ban reasons

So, excuse me for asking such a question but a few things some people (mostly friends playing GW2 like I do) told me made me curious about that.

I’ve been told that people got banned for bugs/errors appearing in the game.

And if I think about it from that perspective, then I’d have to say that I think I’m moving on thin ice.

1. I’ve done nearly all the way to level 36 by crafting. (Buying gems and trade them in for gold – bought the stuff needed to craft from the TP….lol)
2. Even when the range indicator says I’m out of range I can attack and surprisingly, most of the times the attack hits my enemy.
3. Sometimes, when I’m just running around it seems like somebody pressed the “draw/stow weapon” button. My character draws his weapon like half the way off his back, just to immediately stow it again.
4. Experiencing bugs every day. If I’d report every single one, I’d spend all my time doing so. Last bug experienced: Attacks cause no damage when I’m standing in a certain instance in a certain building.
5. While I was buying stuff at the TP I accidently hit the auto-run button “R”, must have been running against that wall for like an hour…don’t even want to imagine how many other players must have reported me as a “botter”.

I could continue that list….

I mean I’m certainly not one of those players that “use” a bug when they find it (I’m more one of those who get away from that scene as fast as they can), but if it’s true that people get banned for experiencing bugs without any kind of evidence that they did something “wrong”, well…. What’s the point in spending my time with leveling, farming whatsoever then?

An account suspension or termination is made with cause. You can review the Rules of Conduct, the User Agreement, and the Naming Policy here for more information.

If you believe an agent has made an error, you should contact Support and the issue will be carefully reviewed. If the suspension or termination was not warranted, it will be reverted.
