Items missing from inventory/bank,

I’m not sure if this is the right area for this post but I’ve been having some issues with having items missing from my account lately. I was in Lion’s Arch today and went to equip an exotic staff that I had and found it wasn’t in my bank or inventory. I doubt I was hacked because the staff was soulbound and besides, I had a few other non-soulbound exotics in my inventory and if I was hacked, I’m sure those would have disappeared. But I still have those.

Also, at a much earlier date, upon my completion of Fractals of the Mist in my daily chest, I received an Ascended ring. I absolutely withdrew it from the daily chest and saw it in my inventory. But upon my entrance to Lion’s Arch, it was missing. I never reported this because I figured it was just hopefully a one-time thing and it wasn’t that big of an issue. But then it happened again, with my staff. Ascended rings are also soulbound, which is probably just a coincidence.

I would also like to point out that the staff I had was also gained from Fractals of the Mists, except it was transmuted with another staff for statistics much later and was looted, when I got it, after killing a normal foe in the War-zone fractal (Which I think is the Ascalonian one), instead of the daily chest.

Account Name: Tom.8029
Character name: Arcane Majesty
Server: Fort Aspenwood

I’m not sure what exactly can be done about this. I’m pretty certain there was no unauthorized entry to my account because I have IP address confirmation up and was not notified. I am also 100% positive it was not accidentally salvaged, destroyed or sold to a merchant by me. Some feedback would be appreciated.

Just filled out a ticket. Thanks.

Great! The team will do what they can to help solve this mystery.

Just wondering: Are you sharing the account at all? Or could, say, a family member have gotten access without you knowing it?

As the team member told you, there is no evidence that the account was compromised, and no evidence that the items were in the inventory or subsequently removed. If you were not account sharing, and if the account was not hacked, then the other possible answers are accidental deletion or transmutation, or an error in memory about what was in the inventory.
