Issue concerning ticket #104973

My friend and I decided to start up GW 2 again, but unfortunately he tied his account to a college email, which has since been deleted. In his ticket he included the email that he would like to become primary, but is worried that since it is not an authorized email address for the account customer support will not correspond with him through this email address.

The question would be is his fear correct? It’s also impossible to know if the ticket was even received by customer support, since he can’t access the old email to see the confirmation email.

Any help by the customer support team on this issue would be greatly appreciated, since we would like to get in some play time during the thanksgiving holiday.

Have your friend answer the account ownership verification questions he was sent today. We can’t make these changes without taking security measures, but we can help once we can establish he owns the account.
