Is new mod enforcement for WvW?

I’m guessing the WvW forums are the main reason behind the change to the moderation enforcement….?

Obviously personal attacks have no business here anyway but what scares me here is the timing. Two days until leagues start and this announcement comes out….. makes me think it’s preemptive and that something very…. ‘unpopular’ is coming…..

I hope I’m wrong and just paranoid but if I’m right let’s all keep our feedback in a constructive format, especially if it’s negative. We don’t need our “minority” voice silenced even further.

Hello all,

I’ll help clarify. We have been receiving a lot of personal attacks on the forums, in PM, and via the Appeals system. Martin’s post and Regina’s follow up are pretty clear.

You can give all the negative feedback you wish, as long as you’re not name-calling, making threads, or things such as “you need to be fired”.

You are welcome to say “I do not like X because of Y”, or state your opinion about gameplay and mechanics.

It’s pretty simple. We are not tolerating personal attacks on our staff on the forums, in PM, or via the Appeals system.
