Instal problems. - Blue Tracker

Haai. Im having a great problem I cant solve.

Ive tried to instal Gw2 both online and with the disc but nothing works. My firewall is turned off, and my antivirus is Bullguard. I try to install it pops up and does the Kb thingy, then it pops down, then up again and stands at 0 in downloading, then it pops down again and nothing happens… Please help me I really want to get this too work.

My computer -can- run it, specs are right. My computer, a Lenevo, IBM thinkpad.

Hi there,

What sort of video card are you playing with?

From what I can tell already your processor does not meet the minimum requirements and your RAM is right at the bare minimum which can affect whether or not you can install the game. While some systems that do not meet the minimum requirements are able to handle Guild Wars 2, this depends entirely on your hardware and how below the minimum requirements you are.

Please understand that even though you were able to play previously, as your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements that does not mean you wouldn’t eventually encounter issues down the road.

So there’s the issue. Again, even though you were able to play previously, there was never any guarantee that it would continue to work which is why these cards are not supported. Please understand that the minimum requirements are not a guideline. They’re the lowest system specifications in which the game will run.

I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but unfortunately there isn’t a way to force the client to install if it’s failing due to the hardware. If anything, try updating your GPU drivers as this MAY help but beyond this there isn’t anything else I could suggest for you.
