Today i thought i’m going to go on gw2 because i had not been on it since the start of the week so i load it up and authenticate the ip and then starts installing again after i had already installed it last week why is it doing this please help

I imagine that the game is simply updating, rather than doing a completely new install. If you have questions, please feel free to post in the Technical Support forum.
