A friend of mine has purchased Guild wars 2 but lost the small paper that the customer ID came on. now he cannot remember his password and cannot log into the forums, and if he now looses his computer/it dies he will lose the account without his serial code. question is how can he get his serial code? Also, if he buys the digital deluxe upgrade, will he get an id key?
I really encourage those of you with these questions to contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. I feel sure that they will be able to assist you. You do not need to have your serial code most of the time. Of course in cases of disputed account ownership, the serial code is very important. Support can answer your specific questions, but they’re more on board to answer questions about situations, not hypothetical “What if I need help in the future” speculative questions.
