So the patch notes mention this: “Fixed a bug where equipment would get destroyed when unequipped while encumbered.”

Some weeks earlier I submitted a ticket about some weapons I had lost: a Ghastly Mace and the focus The Bard. Figuring I had accidentally sold them or some shady figure was busy doing things to my account, I changed my password and sucked it up.

However, it turns out that in all likelyhood it was not my fault that my weapons bailed on me, but it was a bug. Can my items be restored in any way?

I cannot tell that this bug fix and your situation are in parallel, but you’re welcome to discuss this with contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. They will be able to assist you. For tips on what information to provide in a ticket, please read this post and provide as much as possible to expedite the ticket.
