I got scammed, or maybe a bug in game? Please help

Today I made a trade with someone online. I sent him a ring for a deal that we both agreed upon. I sent the ring and he told me that he sent me the gold. I didn’t receive the gold and he told me he didn’t receive the ring. That’s why I am posting this here, cause I don’t know what’s wrong. He might have sent it but there is a problem with my account that I cant send nor receive mails in game, maybe a bug that happened between our accounts? I can however get email from other players as I have tried with a friend of mine.
