I feel 80 levels is/was excessive.

I gather everything, res everything, eat XP food, use XP boosts when I can, hit up every single world event I see on my screens, follow my class quest to the point it is 2-4 levels higher than me… and it still feels sooooo slow leveling.

I’m the type of guy who creates a different character for each class in the game… sometimes on both the “good” and “bad” sides. But because leveling in this game is extremely grindy I probably will just stick with 1 character… get bored likely quit and not buy the xpac.

It is really, really slow leveling guys. I don’t know who dropped the ball on this one. Maybe it just feels slow to me… or maybe just severely redundant.

And even more slow because often there are zones that have 1 “quest” for each level… like really? You think I’m going to go to 1 quest point, do that quest, maybe an event if I’m lucky, and get enough xp to ding a level? Hardly. So why such a massive GAP in xp per quest node? Why are there not enough quest nodes to satisfy leveling in each zone?

Fake time sinks in MMOs really kitten me off. And that’s all this is. Some fictitious method a company uses to slow people down. It stinks, guys. You need to open the XP floodgates because as advertised: leveling is NOT fun and I understand this company is focusing purely on fun.

Dear FadeXF:

we have not yet implemented the rest of the subforums but as soon as they are open, I am sure you can engage in different discussions about levelling and much more. Only, that this subsection “Players helping players”, as the name indicates, is meant to be about issues that can be resolved with the help of the community. Personal opinions do not really fit here and we all want to have tidy forums, right?

So I ask you for patience regarding this and in the meantime, I lock the thread.
