Horrible First Impression

My wife after weeks of discussion, finally agrees that she wants to play and sink the time and money into Guild Wars 2. I’m pretty excited cause we can play together. We purchase the game on the official Guild Wars 2 site, register her a new account, tie the serial number received from the purchase. Receive two confirmation emails. Thats it, seems simple. Except she can’t login to her account, she can’t reset the password, nothing works. Opened a ticket over 3 hrs ago, they did reply, provided new credentials. They didn’t work, still doesn’t work. No response at this point in time…pretty bad first impression. She is considering not playing now, not being able to login and actually use the product that she just spent $60 on is like Starbucks running out of coffee, or a gas station running out of gas. Hopefully, this thread can provide a little more viability into our support ticket and we can get this resolved. If this can get fixed, there is hope we won’t be requesting a refund. Thank You.

Please allow the team the time to resolve this issue. You’ve had a response, it’s been just a few hours, and how this post is going to “provide a little viability” to your issue isn’t at all clear to me.

I suspect this is a case of forgotten credentials, and the team can and will help you!
