Hidden Thief not working with Pistol [Merged]

Thief trait VII of Shadow Arts trait line “Stealing grants 2 seconds of stealth”.

I haven’t been able to get this to work with pistol mainhand. After stealing, stealth is granted, but a single shot is fired which breaks stealth. I should be stealthed and able to use Sneak Attack, the pistol stealth move.

Otherwise, this trait works with all the other weapons.

Has anyone else found this?

I suspect the issue is that you have autoattack turned on for the #1 pistol skill, and stealing initiates combat, so it’s firing your pistol. You can try turning off autoattack (ctrl-rt click on the skill) and see if that does the trick.
