Having issues since September patch?

I know that there are a handful of you that are having issues with either crashing, launching the client or the trading post since the patch was released. I am requesting that those of you experiencing issues submit a support ticket so that I can help you individually. As there are several errors happening after the patch and it would be easier if I was able to work with you one on one instead of trying to field everyones questions and troubleshoot issues in a single thread.

I just wanted to let you know that we are aware of these issues and are working to get them resolved.

With that said, I would like to see how many people are still experiencing these issues. If you are still having issues since the September patch, please update this thread and let us know exactly what issue you are experiencing.

Explain the issue you are seeing?
Are you getting any error messages? If so what are they?
Are you able to work around this issue by doing something specific such as deleting the gw2 folder or running a repair etc?

Yifang – All tickets we have received regarding these issues have been sent replies. If you have not yet received a reply, please PM me the email address associated with your account and I will look into it. It is possible that the ticket is assigned to another team. If this is the case I can move it and begin speaking with you personally.

If any of y’all have sent in tickets and have not gotten a reply from myself or someone else in Tech Support, please PM me with the email address you used to submit the ticket. Once I have that info, I can check to see why your ticket was never received by us.

Also, has anyone had any success with using the workaround that Yifang posted above? I would like to get feedback on this so I can pass it along to the dev team.

After maybe 100+ crashes in 2days from the tp there seems to be some respite, what I did was set that coherent.exe file to open with Guild wars 2 and after that I’ve had just 1 failed tp load but at most 1 crash so it seems to have done something.

Hi, I just dropped in to say that tickets are really important to us – they are one of the ways the dev team is able to get more detail about an issue and allow us to run down a fix. We appreciate the time people take to fill them out, so thank you for that.

Since I know someone will ask, we have continued to work on these issues but I have nothing exciting to report yet. Thanks.
