Hacked Recently

I had not logged into Guild Wars for approximately a week now and I came to find that my password did not work. I went through the procedures to reset my password and finally logged into the game. Getting in the game I realized that almost every item on my main character was gone as well as all of my hard earned gold. I would really appreciate if there is a way I can have this stuff back or possibly compensated for because I do not know how I was hacked. I would assume with the amount of procedures necessary to actually log into an account from a different location, that this would not happen. Also the fact that I never received any email about even an attempt to access my account surprises me. Please help!

I agree with the forum members: You need to be sure your system is completely secure. You may wish to change your Account Name (e-mail address associated with the game account) and once things are secure, you could discuss a possible account restoration with Customer Support. Please click “Support” at the top of this page, then “Submit a request” for assistance.
