hello fellow players. i have been working on twilight for a very VERY long time now. and i just finished my tier 6 mats. i now only need dusk to finish the lovely thing. however sadly my only options to get dusk is praying to the rng gods before mystic toileting my life away, getting it through a lucky 1 in a BILLION lucky chance drop…..or just buying it off the tp for a idiotic sum of gold that would take me a 6 months-year of constant farming to buy.

however i was told..i dont know…1 year ago??? that there was going to be a precursor scavenger hunt/ recipe/ SOMETHING. so that i could get my precursor through some kind of crafting or mystic forge recipe by collecting some mats, maybe some karma/skill point requirement ect. anything to stop the idiocy of having to be 777 leaf clover lucky or a farming/TP god in order to get my precursor.

i have been waiting patiently and i will continue to do so as i farm gold probably for the next 6-8 months. however i cant help be the least bit a annoyed that we have all been waiting such a long time and yet it still has not come out or at least some kind of information about it or anything really besides “it is coming in the future….maybe”

is there any information i maybe missed? what are your thoughts on this?

We want to let you know that the ability to build your precursor will not be in our upcoming Feature Pack. The way progression and rewards work in Guild Wars 2 have changed quite a bit since we initially talked about that feature, and our main horizontal progression systems are about to get some additional updates in the upcoming feature pack. Because of that, we are looking into several ways to integrate building your precursor into our new updated reward and progression systems we’re working on, which is requiring additional development time and iteration. As always, we’ll share details on this system once it’s far enough along in production we’re ready to discuss it.
