My friend was going to purchase guild wars 2 at the discounted price because the post said that it would end 2/25/2013, but it did not list the time. He was right about to purchase a copy, when we noticed right now, 10:30 p.m. on 2/25/2013, that the price was changed back. Is there a way that he can still get it for $40 while it is the 25th?

We cannot extend the sales price, I’m sorry. However, if your friend purchased yesterday and paid full price, he should contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page and they will look into whether they can help him.
