Guild Wars 2 Simply Won't install on 8

I’m running on an extremely up to date ACER Aspire V3 771G-6485 Laptop – That came with Windows 8 stocked on it. So I’m working with it.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M
6GB DDR3 Memory
Everything is updated and and updated x2 My boyfriend and I are both very much on top of the updates. But Guild Wars 2 won’t install. We’ve tried every single user trick out on google to make Guild Wars 2 install. Nothing is so far working. I don’t know what’s wrong. Troubleshooting it, it runs under older windows. Obviously, the game is ‘out of date’ for 8 and 8 is simply being a negative nancy. I know there are users that play GW2 on windows 8 and I don’t know how they did it. What on earth is mine even doing.
(I will provide more technical description of the system when he’s not on it. I’m a working functioning not so borked windows.)

This is a bit of an older thread and may have done better as an individual thread of your own (not clear as to whether or not OP got this issue resolved) but the more information that your’e able to provide the better and more quickly we can assist you with this problem.

That being said, system specs are usually a good place to start.
