So after some of my buds are saying “There’s no point doing any Guild Missions because there’s just a few of us!” I do a little research and soon enough I spot Guild Bounty Training. Aha! Build up a Training Mission and we win. Cool all round. Next one we lose but no biggie, its only 300 influence and we can spare that every 3 days.
Since we lost #2 I think, cool- use Asuran Contract and get 2 more on the go for next time. Oops just extended the build time by 25% for both of them. Lol ok I’ll just use Permission to let you ‘Speed up or cancel upgrades in progress.’ That’s fine ‘cancel progress’. Hold on, where’s my change? These speed upgrades are non refundable? Bam. We’re down 1500 influence.
Caveat emptor and all but I think the Guild just got fleeced. Where’s that 2.5g gone? Ideally a dynamic event would spring up and we could try and chase… sigh.
We should have a prompt before spending non-refundable Influence like this. When I want to salvage a low level Masterwork I get a prompt at least.
Next time an NPC runs up to me in need of help I’m gonna /w my solicitor before I go anywhere near his burning farm.
