Gold Spammers and Private Mail!

On logging in this afternoon i had six messages in my mailbox from gold spammers….SIX!

How is this possible? When i logged out at 3 AM last night hardly anyone was playing in my zone and i recieved no messages!

How are these people getting our names?

No my account has not been compromised i have done umpteen password changes and swapped several brand new email addresses!

What’s going on Anet?

Hi everyone.

Thanks for your concerns. This topic is indeed problematic and is affecting the gaming experience of a great deal of players across Tyria. That is why are aware of the issue and currently working on a solution. We would like to ask for a little bit of patience till this is dealt with and please, keep on reporting those people, not just banning them.
