Gem purchase help

Hi, I just wanna ask if someone could help me regarding an issue on gem purchasing.
I was able to purchase $250 worth of gems 2 days ago and just now when I was trying to buy more I kept on getting an error. Is there an existing weekly/monthly gem purchase limit in the game?

PS: Below is an attached picture of what the error was.
