A couple of months ago, for no reason that I could think of, my game launcher kept freezing. I found out a way to go around it, by deleting the Local.dat from the documents. After a couple of days the problem went completely and everything went back to normal.
A couple of weeks ago, the same problem appeared. I thought to myself “It will disappear soon, so no worries!”. This time it’s a bit different though. Even when I delete Local.dat it will still freeze and I’ll have to do the same process for up to 10 times in order to get in the game. If I don’t delete Local.dat the game won’t start ever, it will always freeze when I play the Play button on the launcher.
The problem still persists and it’s driving me a bit crazy, as I have to adjust the options every time I manage to get it to play. I tried everything I could find online, like repair install, clean install, deleting more files and trying a combination of deleting files and restarting my PC. Nothing worked.
