Game Crashing at Bosses

I just got a new iMac that I’m primarily using for my photo/video editing (hence getting a Mac) that I am trying to play GW2 on but it keeps crashing at bosses. The error message I get is Exception: c0000005. According to ANet’s system requirements it should be more than capable of running the game. Specs for my comp are 27", 3.5GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz, 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM – 2X8GB, 256GB Flash Storage, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2GB GDDR5. I’ve been playing GW on a 5 y/o windows computer without any problems except it being slow and not having good graphics. Any suggestions on how I can stop the game crashing? I’m getting really fed up of missing out on both Jormag and Karka drops! Is this happening to any of you?

Hey JSSPH,

I would first try the troubleshooting steps listed on this post.

If those do not work, I would suggest submitting a support ticket for further assistance. If you do need to submit a ticket, please be sure to include both a screenshot of the error as well as a screenshot of your full system specs.
