Future Threads

Pretty much as the title says. When you post in a thread, the timer that says how long ago it was posted (in _ minutes/hours/days/months/years, not the Month/Day/Year style) indicates that I posted the future.

Look! A picture I took in the past of the future in a post read in the present!

Posts are timestamped according to the server time, but the “x minutes ago” is derived using your local clock. If your local clock is enough behind the forum server’s clock, it will assume the post you are reading was made in the future and display as such.

If it bothers you that much, you can either update your local PC clock or click on the timestamp to have it display in a traditional date/time format.
