Friend's account hacked and response

My friend K was hacked. In addition to whatever was on the account, the hacker also stole everything from the guildbank that we were both in. The guildbank contents can be estimated at about 1k gold.
Note: K has been inactive and his email is also compromised.

After several messages on my part trying to get support to restore or compensate something, I get this:
“Unfortunately we do not offer any compensation for these situations, since we do not hold any responsibility of the security players apply to their accounts.”

The guildbank has a log of all the withdraws. The items have to pass through K’s inventory. While I understand previous messages that claim support cannot restore guildbanks, K had to have been holding these items and transfer them in some way.

You have received the only response possible in situations like this: We absolutely cannot restore Guild Banks. It’s not a matter of choice, we do not have the technological ability to restore Guild Banks, and given the complexity of that feature, I cannot say if that option will become available in the future.

We will not offer some sort of “compensation” for matters of this nature because to do so could be ruinous to the game economy. I’m very sorry for what your guild experienced, but we’re not able to help in the manner you’ve requested.
