Friend Had His Account Unfairly Terminated

My friend recently had his account unfairly terminated. His display name is Thock.7264 and was accused of botting/macroing/unattended gameplay.
First off, he did send a support ticket (incident: 130413-001006). However, it seems the person who responded did not read his appeal in great detail.
Second, he asked for proof or evidence that his account has used illegal third-party software, but none was provided.
Right now I am at his house and speaking on behalf of him. I’d like to make it clear that since we live in China, we use a Chinese instant messaging program going by the name of YY. We use it to verbally communicate as it offers a call feature, similar to the one on Skype. He suspects that this may be flagged as an illegal third-party software, but my account has yet to be terminated (it could be undergoing the “analyzing” process with “great care”).
Furthermore, it seems that ArenaNet acts on assumptions. My friend decided to do some research and find similar cases where accounts were terminated unfairly. Lots of the time it seems that it was the assumption that the player was breaking the rules, when in reality that is not the case. For example, when sending a large amount of goods or gold to another player, the sender seems to automatically be flagged as a real world trader. However, once ArenaNet goes into more depth they realize they made a mistake.
Also, when playing, my friend rarely socializes since most other people do not, and when we play together we are using YY in the background to chat.
Another reason why he may have been wrongly accused is because just yesterday he searched up good ways to make money and found a good farming spot. He farmed for a short while and earned around 70 silver. This may been considered “bot-like” but the truth is he did not bot at all. In fact, he was not even aware that bots were available for Guild Wars 2 until a recent Google search. It disappoints both of us to know that the real botters and gold farmers are happily real world trading whilst the innocent ones are falsely accused and punished for playing legitimately.
We both know that ArenaNet is confident about their decisions. However, human error and assumptions do play a role in incorrect decisions. This is why we ask for the termination status of my friend’s account be revoked as soon as possible.
I’d like to ask a fellow ArenaNet employee to look into this matter in more depth, and provide us with proof as to why my friend was banned. He is more than willing to deal with this problem maturely so he may continue to enjoy the wonderful game experiences that Guild Wars 2 provides. He was also planning to purchase gems until this happened.

This happened today. Your friend has hardly had time to submit a ticket and get into any sort of discussion. This forum is not intended as a place to immediately follow up on tickets. Please give it time.
