Forced name change for no valid reason

Upon trying to log in today I am prompted to change the character’s name before I can proceed.

This name violates nothing, it isn’t offensive. It also happens to be the name of my Ritualist who has been in GW1 since the class first appeared.

There is no basis for a name change and I would like to have an avenue to address this.

The name was reported and censored by an agent. I believe that you used the name without negative intent, but several of us saw it and felt because it was spelled in such a way that it caught the eye, it would continue to be a support issue because it would be reported as being racist.

I am glad you found a name that you like better, and thank you for your understanding in this case.
