I was playing the living story on my lvl 80 norn, and teleported to a WP in Fields of Ruin to reach the next location.
My game client crashed hard, saying “the game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again”.
So I rebooted GW2 and reached the character select screen. To my shock, my lovely lvl 80 has been reset to 0% map completion! Any attempt to join the game results in the same crash, as she is now offisially in the “Fields of Ruin”, and this map causes the crash. My other characters are just fine, they’re in LA. Help? I do NOT want to start over!
Update: I rebooted my PC. Now I have my map completion back, but the map still crashes the client. This time I get to hear the soundtrack of the map, and even some ambient sounds, but it’s still on the loading screen (without hearts, vistas, etc) until it finally crashes.
