Well as it stands…i chose the priory because they were described by the npcs as historians, scholars of sorts. To me this fit what a caster should be, intelligent, learned and educated. The choice seemed obvious to me. I wasn’t a warrior who rushed into battle as described for the vigil and the order of whispers was no where near my taste. I chose priory.
Here’s where the unfairness and lack info gets me. After doing a few quests I get to the headquarters of the priory and see the vendor. I find that ALL of the gear is + healing!!!!! I am a power specced caster! Not one time in the storyline did one npc say “hey, if you pick us you get this armor or this armor.” Now I am being punised for choosing the “wrong” faction based on a complete lack of information. This is completely unfair.
I don’t want to hear that inshould have looked up anything from any third party site because I shouldn’t have to. The developers should have made the choices more clear. Now I’m stuck with rewards I cant use based on a choice made on a lack of information.
This has really screwed up my enjoyment of the game and I’m not alone in this. This needs to be addressed and corrected and not next year. Before locking people into a choice, make sure you give them all the info to make an informed one.
