Experiencing a huge amount of crashes and DCs

While I’ve been trying to bite through this and I’ve also attempted to fix some of the issues (I fixed one! I think! yay me!) I’ve gotten to the point where it just frustrates me too much.

Every 15-30-minutes or so (I actually began timing) I’m either DC’ed or the game crashes to desktop with the default error message (the one that asks you to send in a report) or, double fun, freezes and blocks me from accessing anything else because apparently it enjoys sitting, invisible, on top of my entire desktop. I mean, I like that gw2.exe is so attached to me but I need some space to end the task and restart from scratch.

This could partially be my internet (I’ll admit right away that I have a rather bad connection). Often times it says “can’t connect to the login server” (error code: 58:11:5:535:101) yet if I close it and fire up the launcher straight away I can log in, no problem whatsoever, no connection errors. Then, 15 minutes later, same DC, rinse and repeat.

Only the disconnects give me any sort of error message (58:11:5:535:101 or starting with 42:0:9001), the other crashes either freeze the game (and thus my laptop) without any error message whatsoever or it just gives the default crash message so it’s hard to tell just exactly what is going on.

This happens while running around and doing jumping puzzles in PvE. My laptop also easily passes the minimum requirements (2.4 gHz CPU, 2GBs of GPU I believe and 32 GBs of RAM), though the graphics card is an nvidia and I heard and experienced issues with nvidia cards.

Anyway, my point being; I would like some help figuring out where the root of the problem lies, so whether it be my own internet or on A-nets side (since I’ve been suffering a lot of lag issues, as well as others, I’m not really certain if it’s just my internet)

Or, if possible, anyone knows a fix to either type of crashes or dcs.
