EULA question

Hi all,

So there’s a guy in chat at the moment who feels to that he needs to report people for violating the EULA for advertising their guilds for recruitment. He claims that it’s a violation for the EULA to do so.

Everyone who’s responding, including myself, are assuming he’s a troll but he just keeps going on about it.

Can I get an official answer, hopefully from an ANet representative?

Is advertising for a guild in chat allowed? (Assuming they’re not spamming it every 2 minutes)

Advertising your guild in game is not against the rules – just be courteous and not drive everyone crazy by spamming it or that could lead to problems.
