ETA on BLT purchase restoration tickets?

I submitted a ticket in April about a Gem Store purchased item which has disappeared from my bank. I’ve not heard back about it. I see there’s new armor available but am frankly not eager to make more purchases while an issue with a previous one is pending.

The account status thread states many times not to post requests for updates on tickets about item restoration, but that those will be looked at eventually. Is there an estimate on how long one should wait before submitting a new ticket? I want to give the support staff time to work on more urgent tickets such as account restorations etc, but it’s been two months and there’ve been no subsequent emails from ANet about it, so I am getting the creeping feeling that my ticket’s just gone and I am waiting pointlessly now.
