Elonian Wine - Known Issue

There’s an issue with Elonian Wine where the price doubled with today’s build. This is an error. That is, there was not an intentional price increase. (No special vintage or ultra-rare grape harvest; no wine shortage after a hearty Labor Day party in Lion’s Arch. )

You may want to hold off on buying Elonian Wine until this is fixed. The fix will be rolled out as soon as possible, but we don’t have a precise timeframe for it quite yet.

Hey all,

We wanted to update you to let you know that everyone who purchase Elonian Wine at the unintentionally-high (bugged) price will receive a refund of the difference in the next day or two. You do not need to submit or update a support ticket. The team researched every Elonian Wine purchase in the correct timeframe and the coins that make up the difference between the intended and bugged price (depending on how many you purchased, of course) will be sent to you via the in-game mail system.

Annnndddd…. These replacements are now done!

Anyone who purchased Elonian Wine in the cited period — when the price was unintentionally high due to a bug — has been refunded the difference in the cost of the wine. Please check your in-game mail for your refund, and remember, if you don’t see it, remove some of your mails (with the envelope icon) and pending mails will drop down into your mailbox.

Thanks again for waiting patiently for this distribution. Now, don’t spend all those coins in one place.
