Effectively reporting bugs in game?

This is a question about how to report bugs rather than a bug report, so I’m sorry if it’s in the wrong area but it seemed to fit best here.

When using the in game bug report option how much information do we need to give? I’ve been relying on the screen shot to provide most of the basic information like which NPC/Item etc. I’m talking about and just put the actual bug in the text but it occured to me today that might just be making a lot of extra work for you guys in trying to find out who/what I’m talking about.

Do I need to say, for example “There’s a typo in the second dialogue option for Hermann, next to the western gate in Beetletun”? Or can I just take a screen shot of the conversation window and say "The response to this guy should say “Why, not Whay”?

There really isn’t a better place to put this, is there? ^^;

Of your two examples, I would say the first is more helpful. In the past, we’ve occasionally had issues with screenshots not going through with bug reports, so any extra details you can provide in the body of the report is helpful.

As always, providing information here on the forums is helpful as well. I hope this answers your question!
