Hello everyone, I’m here to talk about my concern with the current loot system (I know there is a new loot stuff in the works) but my concern is that the new upcoming system isn’t substantial enough.
In my mind, hardest content of the game should give the best rewards. Something like spending few hours clearing Arah should give you more gold than spending 20 minutes farming events in Cursed Shore.
What I’m thinking here is DoA, Underworld, FoW from Guild Wars 1 that really were worth doing for the money but they were hard when they launched and they remained hard (excluding gimmick builds that came later but whatever). I’m hoping anet would implement some sort of really hard elite area and increase drop rates of existing dungeons to make them worth doing. I really actually enjoy doing dungeons and have infact completed everything but one route in Arah but I would like to keep doing them for something besides tokens which I don’t have any use for anymore.
