Digitale Deluxe Upgrade Code

I bought GW2 made a account I have now played for a month or so but.
Today my friend gave me a card that I got with GW2 and left at his place and on that card their is a code for what I think is the Digitale Deluxe Edition of the game.
But I contacted support and asked the question of how to use this code but they linked me to a page which was a guide how to make a new account.
But I already have a account so can some one help me.
I looked on google already if someone had the same problem as my but nobody has the same problem as me.

So can somebody please help.
