Creating account Password already in use?

I have a friend trying to register, and is getting “Your password is already associated with another account.”. Passwords aren’t limited to only one person are they? I don’t know what he was trying to enter as the password.

Also, did they change the link stage in registration? From their video in teh suppord page, there should be a reset password, but when I just went to the registration page, that section isn’t there any more, only setting new email.

Exactly. That password is “known” to hackers. Might not be your friend’s password, maybe someone else used it. But for an extra layer of security, we’re preventing it’s re-use.
