In Cragstead, there are “Elixir Bottle”’s scattered around. These bottles are apparently bottomless – meaning you can spam skill 3 while holding one and gain a point for Thirst Slayer.
Given the high number of points required for Thirst Slayer, I think that the idea of a bottomless bottle in an area with combat is proportional. However, while discussing this with my guild, I felt it important to ask:
Is this bottle an exploit and will users feel the hateful wrath of the banhammer if they sit there chugging away thousands of points off of one of these bottles? Or is this some sort of “gimme” that anet is throwing users working towards Thirst Slayer?
Can we get some sort of official word on this from someone at aNet?

That was me, answering you to the best of my ability, with the information that I had on hand. Yes, sometimes it takes a while to get a response. Such things need to be assessed and reviewed, rather than someone giving an “It’s ok” or “That’s an exploit!” answer that may end up being in error.
