Good evening,

sorry for my english, but it’s not my native language.
I’m experiencing a big problem with the game: anytime I go to a city or find myself in a crowded map (such as in the middle of an event or similar), my game crashes.
It’s not a recent problem, but lately it began to be awful.
I’ll paste the message from the error window, hoping it could help

I’ve updated both directx and video card driver (or at least, I think I’ve done), I have ran the repair client several times, but nothing worked.
The only way i can play without any crashes is selecting the “best performance” option, but honestly I don’t think is a good solution.
I’ll attach my dxdiag report, as you can see my system should be enough to play GW2 at its maximum (I don’t have any problem with other mmorpg or single player games).
Thank you for your attention.

Hey there,

The issue here is your 32-bit operating system. You’ve got 8 GB of RAM in your system, however, due to the limitations of 32-bit operating systems you are only really using about 3.5 . In order to make full use of the RAM in your system and to avoid these crashes, I’d advise upgrading to a 64-bit operating system.

Your only other option would be to try tweaking your graphics options down a bit to alleviate some of the crashing.

EDIT: Numbers – thanks for catching that!
