Confusing PvP loss: any ideas?

Just been running some casual tournament PvP matches with my guild and our last match (which we lost, unfortunately), got us a little confused. Was hoping to get some explanations for what might have happened. So picture the scenario:

5v5, Legacy of Foefire. We got crushed by a team of mainly guardians, but not in the conventional sense. The match finishes at about 390 points in, the timer hasn’t run out, the guardians were attacking our lord but didn’t kill him (100 point reward didn’t show up), none of us in the guild chose to leave or end the game in any other way. So, how exactly did we lose when the match technically wasn’t finished?

We’re fairly new to PvP so no negative comments please. Some of us also found the guardians nigh-on impossible to kill even in 1v1 but I doubt that was anything suspicious, probably just tanky builds. Any ideas?

Did the game end in a way that showed the score screen, who won, etc? Or did you all just get redirected to the lobby?

This sounds like a problem we have recently fixed, but I’m not 100% sure if its the same based on these reports.
