Client update crashed

I just dl’d the client a few days ago n was updating it. It showed a total of 263k files to be downloaded. When only 5k files were left, my laptop crashed and now the client is dl’ing all of the 263k files again! The GW2 folder already has a .dat file of 17GB. I spend quite a few days to try n complete the whole dl. Tried to run it in repair mode too but didnt help. Please let me know any alternative since i dont wanna spend another week trying to dl all those files again

Hi Jitz – Unfortunately if you encounter any kind of interruption during the installation such as with a power outage or loss of Internet connection, your client will need to be reinstalled from the beginning. I can only really recommend installing the client from a more stable network or to copy a fully patched client over from a friend or relative who may already have Guild Wars 2.
