Chef/Cooking Recipes

I’m not quite sure what’s going on here. But for every other crafting profession that I’ve been working on the recipes have been account-bound and today I decided to dabble in cooking. I made a recipe for “Pot of Kale Soup” on my main learned it went back to the chef and its not in the list. This is quite upsetting to say the least. The entire time I have been playing for my other crafting professions I have been purchasing cooking recipes with karma as well.

There should at least be a warning when you buy “SOULBOUND” recipes to let you know it is “SOULBOUND” not “Account-wide”. What a freaking waste of resources. Good thing I haven’t spent more than 59.99$ on this crap. Please excuse the raging..

Recipe unlocking ITEMS are account-bound so you can pass them to another character on your account, but once you learn it, it is only learned on the character who has learned it. It’s always been this way for all disciplines.

Not entirely accurate Lindsey, a lot of recipe items were soulbound just after release, leaving me stuck with a couple of jeweller and artificer recipes on a character that did not have those professions.

Fair enough, but it was never the case that a recipe was account-wide, not character-based as suggested.
