Charr Storyline

My husband and I are leveling our characters together. When we were able to choose and order to belong to in our personal stories, he chose order of whispers, and I chose the vigil. However, after the quests “Ever Vigilant” and “Setting the Stage”, I was then “welcomed” to the order of whispers in the quest “stealing secrets”….. But I didn’t join the order of whispers. I’ve no idea if these are the quests I’m supposed to get as a Vigil member, but if so it seems to have been overlooked as it makes no sense :P

As a final note, I was the one to enter the instance, so it can’t have been an error on my part for thinking the instance was mine when it wasn’t.

That doesn’t match up with the way the storylines are set up. If you ended up in “Stealing Secrets” after “Setting the Stage” it means the player who “owned” that instance was in the Order of Whispers. At the end, when it asks if you want to accept progress, it will show you the next story step that it will put BOTH players on. It hasn’t actually changed your order, but it’s put you on the Chapter 4 OOW storyline to keep both of you together.
