Just now I was booted out of the game with a message about my account being suspended, however, I was able to log back into the game just fine.
Yet, when I tried logging into my main character, who shares the same name as my account name “Curse You”, I was greeted with a prompt to change my character’s name.
This struck me as odd, since I have had this same name since playing Guild Wars 1 back in 2005 and I have never had anyone so much as call my character’s name slightly offensive.
The only notable event just prior to this happening was myself being whispered by about 10 different bots over the span of 30 minutes and myself commenting on this happening in map chat.
I have already submitted a ticket about the issue, but as this is my main character, I would like to be able to get back onto them so I can resume play.
