Changed password no email

I just changed my password today and never received an email response that it was changed. Was I supposed to be notified if my account had a recent password change? I thought this was a security thing. My account has email authentication.

If you’re changing the password on the account site, you shouldn’t expect an email. If you are doing a password recovery process, then you will receive an email.
